By Jove is our interpretation of a classic rhubarb fool, a creamy and fruity chilled dessert dish that teases the taste buds and provides a very flavoursome experience. Some people taste rhubarb and custard sweets and while the rhubarb is perfectly created to suit, the creams are not particularly 'custardy' The hint of cooling though is inspired, so low that it adds no throat hit or negative effects other than to stop the cream feeling 'hot'. The Flavour
Our rhubarb fool goes by the name of By Jove due to the exclamation we let out once our rhubarb flavouring was perfected, this is not a candied rhubarb nor a leafy green rhubarb but a true to the real thing stewed rhubarb that has been slightly sweetened.
The balance of creams and a light cooling sensation brings to mind the sensation of a chilled cream desert right out of the fridge and By Jove has become not only one of our most recognised and loved flavours since launch but also a permanent fixture in our top five best sellers list too.
